In recent years, the nation (and even the world) has witnessed the devastating effect that natural disasters have caused in regions of the United States.
On a fairly regular basis, the Gulf Coast tends to experience extreme hurricanes, while the East Coast struggles with crippling freezing. The mid-west deals with tornadoes, while the West Coast must face earthquakes and occasional forest fires.
These are realities that we will probably forever face but those affected are much better off when the community assists the brave 1st-line workers who risk their lives everyday. Together we are stronger and OCC intends to extend those we are able to assist.
House and apartment fires displace many people everyday. When this type of tragedy happens, the affected usually don't know where to start in order to recover.
